Data East HV rebuild
From TheFnet
Only small & medium sized DMDs are considered here!
When the DMD stopped working on my JP, some quick tests showed that the power board was no longer producing the -110V, -98V and 68V rails. The negatives were missing completely and 68V down to about 30. A quick visit to the best repair resource around gave me the components needed to rebuild this section of the PSU, and hopefully the information below reflects that. Unfortunately nobody seemed to be offering a kit of parts in the UK like you can get for WPC games. So, I am trying to fill that void in the hope of helping someone out who's in the same position I was.
You'll need to order all parts from the all boards section, plus parts from the section which matches your board version and revision.

Note: on pinrepair.com it states to pay special attention to D10 and D11 - make sure that you are replacing with the same as was there originally. This was not an issue in my case, but it seems to suggest there may be some differences.
The information provided is believed to be correct, but please check with manuals and other sources before ordering/replacing any parts as I can't accept any responsibility for inaccuracies. My board is a -02 model so I can't be certain about parts for the other versions and revisions. Please leave a comment if you have any input/suggestions/amendments.
If all else fails, you could go for the very reasonably priced DPS004 board from Rottendog Amusements!
