After getting my Twilight Zone pinball machine I quickly wanted another. The fruit machine was nowhere near interesting enough for the space it took up, so it had to go to make room for another pinball! After a few months a Data East Jurassic Park machine came up for sale and the seller very kindly offered delivery which sealed the deal.

Modifications/Tweaks

Not many (if any) of these do I consider to be modifications, unlike the TZ ones, more just tweaks to help the game run a bit better and look nicer. Below is a list of things I have done so far.

I found the ball to sometimes jump out of the right hand wireform before dropping back onto the playfield, skipping across the right slingshot. I wanted to rectify this somehow so got a 1" self-adhesive backed blue rubber square and stuck it onto the wireform. This worked perfectly, but eventually it would slide off the bottom, so I did the following:

I made a small hole in the back of the rubber and superglued a machine screw in there. Coupled with a nut and a bit of PC backing plate, it made an ideal clamp to hold the rubber in place. It works great!

Rebuild

I quickly decided the playfield needed to be stripped for a good polish and wax with the old guitar wax. See below for the complete image gallery.
